“I don’t normally leave product reviews, but I am so pleased with this breast pump I felt compelled too! It is genuinely brilliant, especially considering it’s £45. As a mum of a 5 year old and 5 month old, fitting pumping in was difficult, so I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of this pump. I set it up very easily as soon as it arrived and I was able to pump as I got on with everyday tasks like doing the dishes. In two pump sessions I got the same amount as I would have done with my Medela Swing.
My only tiny negative would be that is isn’t silent, but this isn’t a problem for me as I only plan on pumping when home, and the amazing price outweighs this issue in my view.”
“I was skeptical about this working for the price, but it is AMAZING! Easy to clean, assemble and use, can’t believe I was considering the Elvie when this is so much cheaper and does the exact same job. Thank you!”
“Really happy with this pump!
It was really easy to use and clean and found I it really comfortable to wear! I managed to pump a decent amount off whilst still be able to get on with things.
I’ve used lots of other (and much more pricey) pumps and this is just as good!
Would highly recommend and especially at the amazing price!”
“I am absolutely loving the breast pump. So easy to assemble and take apart to clean and sterilise. I collected the pump up as Pippeta is a very local business to me in Yorkshire, it is always a bonus to support local businesses too.
The ladies were fabulous, so helpful and friendly even if I was a bit of a nightmare customer dying to get my hands on this pump.
I no longer have to wait for my husband to get home from work to pump (all the wires get in the way whilst trying to comfort baby and pump at the same time, more or less impossible)
Last night we bathed the baby whilst I was pumping, you can't get much more hands free than that!
This pump is an absolute game changer for all mums. I would highly recommend :)”
“Really great pump for the price! I have only used it twice so far but so far so good! The suction is great and managed to get 4oz off in about 15 minutes. Like any pump that says it’s silent, it definitely isn’t, but that doesn’t bother me as just using it at home. Would definitely recommend!”
“I really struggled with electric breast pumps when I was feeding my eldest. I would be hooked up to an electric pump for longer than 30mins and get less than an ounce but with a manual I would get 3oz in 10mins. Now my 2nd child is here I wanted to find a way to pump without being glued to the sofa. This pump popped up on my insta stories so I thought why not it's only £45. It's the best decision I've made, I was able to play with my 2 year old whilst pumping and expressed 4oz in 10mins! I'm really impressed with this pump. Just a little tip: if you've not got particularly large boobs make sure you're wearing a bra which unhooks to access your boobs. I found my cross over, pull to the side bra wasn't great at making me feel secure the pump wouldn't fall out.”
“Love this pump! My supply has dropped and as they say “pump pump pump” when trying to increase. I’ve never been successful pumping and get very little but I’ve been using this with my medala flex on the other boob and the pippeta gets more than my medala which was more than double the cost!!
Only thing that could be better is the battery life, I have to charge everyday (I’m pumping a lot at the moment) but that won’t stop me probably buying another so it makes pumping quicker!”
“First things first, buy this pump while it’s still an astoundingly low price!
I gave up BF very soon into having my baby because I couldn’t cope with the pain her tongue tie was causing and didn’t want to sit hooked up to a machine all day pumping. When my daughter turned 5 weeks and was beginning to get into more of a routine I decided to try to relactate as I was still producing small amounts of milk. To do this I needed to pump as well as nurse my daughter as much and for as long as possible.
I have a normal wired electric pump that I used for the first two weeks and managed to balance pumping, nursing and caring for a newborn but it was getting a bit much. I was interested in the Elvie Pump or the Willow but the prices are extortionate.
Pippeta came up in an instagram add (bloody cookies seeing my search history!) and I couldn’t be more grateful!
My pump arrived the day after I ordered. I’ve used it for the first time today and I was able to feed, change and bathe my baby all while pumping. Tomorrow I’m going to pump while out for a walk
I no longer feel like a cow hooked up to a milking machine and just feel like me!
Now, it’s not completely invisible and you can see that there’s something stuffed in your bra but it is so much less obvious than being hooked up to the usual electric pumps.
The suction is decent as well, I got the same amount from the Pippeta pump as I usually get from my wired pump.
Overall, really impressed and my savings are grateful too!”
