“I use this pump frequently throughout the day and I'm super impressed, especially when compared to the price of other hands free/wireless pumps.
I was able to use the massage function before the birth of my baby to help the flow of colostrum so I could harvest it (although you wouldn't be able to collect it in the pump as the amount is too small).
I bought 2 of these pumps and use them throughout the day to increase my supply and store the breast milk so my partner can be involved in feeding.
One downside is I've noticed I need to charge them frequently, but this is probably because I use them so often. I've also never used any other pumps so have both to compare these to, however I get anywhere from 3oz to 9oz per pumping session (using both pumps). Which is more than enough to keep baby well fed and also to store some extra for future use.”
“This pump is ok. On more than one occasion when using it has leaked when using as the seal is not tight. I would probably in invest in a different one next time but ok to use from time to time.”
“I love the pippeta pump I have been using it now for a couple of weeks and it has increased my milk supply. It is very efficient at pumping out all of the milk from each breast and has different intensity settings. The pump lasts me three pump sessions when charged fully, by that I mean once each side.
Some milk will got lost in the pump parts which is slightly annoying but it is not loads. The pump parts come apart so they can be cleaned and sterilised properly. I love the fact that is it hands free so I can get on with other things. I have worn it whilst driving too. It is bulky and noisy however so cannot be worn discreetly.”
“I have been using this pump for over a month now and it is an excellent product for the amount of money it costs. I spent quite a lot of time trying to decide if I should buy the elvie but decided to go for this cheaper version. I was using a TT pump for 7 months and this one is so much better. It is not as quiet but yes hands are free and can get onto whatever you need to do. One thing that worried me initially due to my high supply was the amount of ml it would hold I have managed to fit 210ml and did not spill any, although if you are overfilling and leaning down it will come out of the small gap at the top. I find I actually get more out when pumping against the TT pump and can comfortably use the highest setting on the pipetta. It is better at emptying the whole breast and dissolving blockages. It is very easy to put together and easy to empty I was under the impression you had to take off the flange which I found fiddly at first but you simply pop off the motor and pour out of the small gap as it acts as a spout and this minimises loss of milk. Cleaning is a OK, a bit fiddly with one chamber. One annoyance is that there is no timer so you need to do that alongside if you pumping less than 20 minutes. If you are serious about pumping but don’t have £500 to spend this is such a better option! Does exactly what it should and fits perfectly in my bra (no need to use the bra attachments). Most importantly you can do what you need especially as your baby becomes more mobile and you can’t sit down for longer periods of time! Thank you! I will definitely be purchasing another pump for future babies so I can use 2 at once!”
