“Great compact pump that works well, comes with a large flange and smaller inserts if needed which I think is great.
Would prefer if the battery light flashed orange when it was getting low, not just red and then the pump die during pumping. It would also be nice if a bag was provided to keep the pump in.”
“Really pleased with how it works and the amount of milk I can collect. Just as good if not better than a certain brand name similar pump but at 75% cheaper!”
“Purchased this recently and must say I wasted my money. Just a fiddle. Pump doesn’t such properly unless pushing against breast. Is not discrete at all pops out of top. Loud enough sound and the worst part is the electric part itself doesn’t click in properly. I did email pippeta however they wanted me to send a video over via email which just put me off”
“Usually very skeptical about so many positive reviews so I waited a few weeks before writing this. In that time, I also purchased the Medela Freestyle double pump and was surprised that the Pippeta pump was, at least for me, producing close to the Medela pump amount (single breast). In short, great pump but a quick few points: 1) Motor has tendency to keep coming off, so press it down hard into milk compartment when it's in operation. 2) Make sure the rim of the breast shield is securely closed in place to prevent leakage, watch out for the gap in the rim which should be aligned to the top part of pump. 3) Don't be tempted to go to the higher setting, I felt it made no difference to milk production compared to the middle setting. The higher setting just left my nipples very sore. 4) Do not try to take the entire lid off when pouring milk into a bottle, lift the lid a little bit as the whole thing comes undone and you will end up spilling the whole milk. 5) Don't bend and or lean back as there'll be spillage. All in all, a really effective pump and so much cheaper than the Medela one!”
