“More dog tolerant than friendly. Very limited space in the bar for dogs with most tables being high up with high chairs. No doggy bag bins anywhere on site. Dedicated doggy restaurant dark and oppressive. Caboodle doggy pack we paid for (£15) was not provided and not refunded which was very poor. Staff very friendly and attentive and food good. Two pubs in the village both supposedly dog friendly, one only opened at night and the other only allowed dogs at the front where there are only 2 benches next to the road which were constantly used by smokers and vapers. All in all not a dog destination.”

“Haycock manor excels in all areas. We had an amazing stay, the staff are all really helpful and friendly, especially Rachel on reception who went above and beyond to help us. Our dog was made to feel very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed the attention. The food was lovely in the dog friendly restaurant and the food in Provost was outstanding. We cannot wait to return”
