“We had an overnight stay with our dog at the Haycock Manor Hotel. It was ideal for breaking our journey but we were sad to leave after only one night and will definitely return. Very dog friendly, great food and the staff are excellent.”

“Would have been 5 stars, but was expecting the garden patio room to be enclosed. Next doors dog kept wondering in which our dog didn't like. Apart from that really enjoyed, all staff very friendly to us and our little dog.”

“My husband and i and our cockapoo Lottie had a fabulous stay. Perfect room with patio onto garden for Lottie. Staff very friendly, beautiful building with gorgeous features, food incredible. location wonderful and thoroughly enjoyed.”

“We had a lovely time with our dog and baby daughter at Haycock Manor. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, the room was very spacious and the bed extremely comfy and the food in the restaurant was fantastic. We hope to return!”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Would appreciate the £15 caboodle cost being refunded.

“More dog tolerant than friendly. Very limited space in the bar for dogs with most tables being high up with high chairs. No doggy bag bins anywhere on site. Dedicated doggy restaurant dark and oppressive. Caboodle doggy pack we paid for (£15) was not provided and not refunded which was very poor. Staff very friendly and attentive and food good. Two pubs in the village both supposedly dog friendly, one only opened at night and the other only allowed dogs at the front where there are only 2 benches next to the road which were constantly used by smokers and vapers. All in all not a dog destination.”

“Haycock manor excels in all areas. We had an amazing stay, the staff are all really helpful and friendly, especially Rachel on reception who went above and beyond to help us. Our dog was made to feel very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed the attention. The food was lovely in the dog friendly restaurant and the food in Provost was outstanding. We cannot wait to return”
