“Location is great, lots of Parking and lovely grounds to explore. Food was good and the set menu worked well for us, though I think booking through Pets Pyjamas was a bit confusing as we were questioned several times about paying for items that were included in our package. No big deal, staff were very nice and accommodating once I showed my confirmation again. It’s not the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in and had a bit of an ‘old’ smell though as a dog friendly hotel I guess that is part and parcel. A small lick of paint would do wonders and make the place 5*!”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Basel the guy who welcomed us was Extremely Welcoming and helpful.

“The Accommodation was good,but we moved rooms as we were not given a room overlooking the river.The Evening meal was good but spoilt buy the Wine which we ordered. We bought it to the attention of the young waiter that the Wine did not taste good,he said that he would See what he could do,,,,which resulted in NOTHING...So we didn't bother with pudding even though we had paid for it.Left 3/4 OF THE BOTTLE WINE on the table and left...Spoilt our meal... .”

“Fantastic location.. hotel grounds amazing. Lovely walk down to the lake. All staff warm and friendly. Matt made our stay so accomadating. We were upgraded to an ulimate deluxe room. So spacious and great having french doors onto the gardens. We will be back.”

“Food great rooms comfortable . Decorated needing done especially around windows and balcony. Could be absolutely beautiful. View onto Ullswater stunning. Staff friendly dog friendly definitely go back”

“We went on the Ulti-Mutt Luxury Package and were really impressed by the deal and the hotel. Very dog friendly with access to almost everywhere - rooms are large and warm; restaurant is relaxed and the grounds are special and good for short walks. And obviously Leeming House is in the heart of the North Lakes so the surroundings are wonderful. Just be prepared for four seasons in one day!”

“Very dog friendly, nice staff, it would have been better if we could have locked the French door from the outside as it meant if we wanted to go out for any length of time we had to go though the hotel.”
