“Kingsley Cottage is lovely, a perfectly located bolt hole. The cottage itself is comfortable and clean. The welcome treats were lovely, thank you. The bathrooms could do with an update, but this didn’t detract from our stay. Communication with Lucy, the owner has been excellent, really responsive and friendly. We basically stayed within the immediate area with excellent pubs - especially the Boathouse (try the linguine!!), the beach (the dog was in heaven!) and John’s deli (the breakfast butty is amazing!) Such a relaxing break from work and so lucky getting dry and crispy January weather. We did walk into Bideford along the Tarka trail, which was really lovely. Fabulous from start to finish. Thank you”

“We have just returned from a weeks stay in Kingsley Cottage. Instow nr Bideford North Devon We had a lovely relaxed week. The cottage provided everything we needed - It was perfect for exploring Instow. Lovely pubs/restaurants and a fabulous delicatessent Instow is on an estuary - the beach was tidal and we had lovely walks with our dog. Beautiful areas locally to explore. Would highly recommend it.”

“Stayed for a week and did t want to leave...cottage is absolutely lovely and really close to beach.... the little pub opposite is definitely one to visit, the food is superb and the staff are friendly and welcoming”
