“Beautiful situation and blissfully remote so you need to ensure you stock up well before you arrive. Lots of lovely walks nearby including smashing pubs in Dalegarth the Brook House Inn & the Boot Inn about 50 minutes walk away. Birkerthwaite farmhouse was warm and comfortable and as homely as our own home… maybe more so! The Aga was a wonderful experience. I would definitely return here. The only downside was the 9am check out which we struggled with.”
