“Great location, loverly cottage, nice and roomy with a big garden The kitchen is well appointed but a lack of instructions for the oven was annoying (thx goggle for the save) The downside was information regarding the dogs that was only given after we arrived; don’t let the dogs upstairs and if you have to leave them use the out door kennels provided. Now if your dogs sleep upstairs at home guess where they’re sleeping on holiday and if they live indoors guess where they’re staying on holiday. And if they are used to outdoor kennels I’m pretty sure the dirty run down dog area wouldn’t be where you’d be leaving your beloved pets. I’d recommend this cottage to anyone who doesn’t have a dog.”

Did you feel your stay was good value for money? yes

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? having read previous reviews i was a little concerned about what the cottage would be like, but I can honestly say I was very pleasantly surprised, the cottage was clean, well laid out and great facilities. Being next to a busy road wasn't an issue as we hardly heard the traffic.

“The cottage was just right for us and our St Bernard, Bernie. Although the kennel had seen drier and better days, it still functioned with the run perfectly for him. The cottage layout worked really well for us to be able to have him inside without an issue and the fireplace with a log fire in the evenings meant that we could all get nice and cosy together. The cottage was very well laid out with good facilities and the all- important wifi for the teenager!”
