“We had another lovely break at Brook Cottage. Unfortunately, the weather was against us as there was constant rain for the first few days. However, this didnt have any impact on our stay, as the owners of this beautiful cottage had provided us with board games and puzzles to entertain us. If you have dogs as we do, the garden is enclosed and safe. So, we were able to relax knowing that our dogs could wander without worrying about any escape routes. We will be back for another stay next year..”

“The cottage is lovely, a proper chocolate box bit of paradise. The garden was secure and so we could relax and let the dogs do likewise. A great launch pad to venture into the Welsh midlands and Brecon Beacons. We’ve booked again!!!”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? It wasn't clear in correspondence from Pets Pyjamas that check in was after 3 PM. The owners didn't make a fuss when we asked to turn up at 1pm but I sensed surprise and on checking other websites it became clear we were two hours early. Apologies.

“We couldn't believe our luck when we arrived at Brook Cottage. It's small and basic yes, but it feels so homely. It was spotlessly clean and lovely and warm, even in the conservatory dining room, despite freezing January weather. The large garden with the brook quietly babbling along safely behind the fence was a self-contained heaven for our dog who spent happy hours just sniffing about and watching all the birds. There are some lovely, quiet, beautiful walks straight from your door, especially from just up the lane where the views are spectacular. It's also just a few minutes walk into the village, including the pub, which doubles as a takeaway, post office, book shop, garden centre and restaurant. Everybody we met was friendly, chatty and full of smiles, which I guess tells you that it really is just a nice place to be. We went for a bit of an escape and down-time and it was perfect. We had to tear ourselves away when it was time to go. Thanks”
