“Lovely property in a quiet'ish location as you are close to the road, which whilst not busy you can hear traffic and cyclists having conversations arms they go by. You are opposite a beautiful wooded area, however what wasn't known, until after arriving this land is not part of where you are staying but is, in fact, used for local shoots, be aware if you are travelling with a reactive dog. The property is finished and furnished in a very quaint fashion with a lovely eye for detail in the build, but soft furnishings are looking rather tired now and not the most comfy. It would be helpful if additional towels could be left in the property along with some hand wash in the bathrooms and kitchen.”

Did you and your dog receive a warm welcome? yes

“This property was perfect for us, it’s in a great location has every facility that we needed for our first holiday with our two springers . There were mince pies to great us ( we stayed just after Christmas ) and the property was warm and cosy. We had enough logs for 2 days and then bought more from a local farm shop which is just a 3 min drive away. If you arrive late and didn’t plan ahead for dinner there’s a nice pub about 4 min drive away and also a good fish n chip shop near the convenient Co op. The bathroom facilities/ shower etc were all great, very good power shower and the other bathroom has a super roll top bath. The decking area is completely secure so you can let your dog wander in and out without escaping . Had the weather been better we would have visited more places as this location is perfect to get around the South Downs and beaches on the coast . We found a place called Perch on Worthing pier which did a fantastic breakfast and the menu for lunch and dinner looked great albeit we only had breakfast . All in all we could not fault it here and will definitely be returning ( when it’s not raining !)”
