Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The only downside was dinner service the first night (Friday) was very slow with cool food!

“My husband and I stayed with two single friends taking up three deluxe rooms. Two rooms were great but the third a little dark. However we all loved the location on the Chatsworth Estate and would come back again. Our Cocker Spaniel was happy in the room while we went for meals. There are walks on the doorstep and a small garden very useful for late calls, with dogs bins handy. Good parking.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Exceptional dog friendly accommodation, especially with the private courtyard and dog friendly garden. Lovely walks from the door.

“What a gem of a place...we had a wonderful overnight stay at Beeley, fabulous accommodation, great food and really lovely staff made our stay so memorable. We will definitely choose to stay here again.”

“Lovely accommodation, very clean spacious rooms. Biscuits, bowl, towel all supplied for Fynn our dig. Plenty of coffee, tea, hot chocolate for the humans. Dog friendly eating in pub, food was of a very high standard, and all the staff were super friendly. You would find it hard to stay anywhere better even if you didn't have a dog.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? We were on dinner, b & b package but I was taken ill and could not eat after first day. No refund or even a gesture of knocking off a £20 drinks bill? Bit steep for a weekend break that cost over a thousand pounds

“Picturesque setting. Luxury Dog beds & treats. Great to eat with dog as welcome everywhere. Large bedrooms, well equipped with coffee machines, fresh milk etc;”

“I have stayed at the Devonshire Arms previously in Pilsley, not Beesley and was expecting the same standard, this was not to be the case. On arrival we received a good welcome enjoyed dinner in the restaurant that evening and had a comfortable night's sleep in our pleasant room. However the following morning we went for breakfast at 08.50 and didn't receive our food until 09.30, with no explanation or apology for the delay. The coffee and food were lukewarm. My husband's full English requested without mushroom and tomato arrived with both these items but no sausage. My beans on toast was a sad offering - a flaccid piece of toast with a couple of spoonfuls of beans. We would have commented but there was no staff to comment to. This was a poor end to our stay and we would never return or recommend staying here.”

“Cute rooms, lovely staff and delicious food. Beautiful area to walk & relax. However, some areas are lacking attention to detail. New foot mats at entry, cleaning of guttering, sweeping of terrace & clearing cobwebs outside. But otherwise no complaints.”
