“To be honest the cottage was fine but once we were aware of the ridiculous number of rules we were asked to adhere to it completely ruined the anticipation and duration of the stay. I would suggest you download the Vanilla Cottage app and have a look. Such a shame.”

Location meant lots of travelling to reach popular places to see but dont let this put you off, Vanilla cottage is worth the extra travveling time to ensure you are comfortable upon your return. A must to see is Raglan Castle and Abergavenny which are onl

“A few miles into the Welsh border in Monmouthshire this was a real gem of a place within outstanding countryside and location for touring South Wales. Charming period property in a quiet location, quality equiped and presented, as well as thoughtful touches from the owner such as wine, welshcakes and a homemade tipple on arrival were very appreciated. Excellent for Norma our English Springer, secure garden and welcome treats.”
