“We're very impressed with Laurel Cottage. It has a lovely homely feel and for our Autumn break was very cosy. The setting is so pretty... it instantly feels like a holiday. We loved the proximity to the River Shack and the added bonus of being able to walk to Sandbridge Barton Winery (which is 100% dog friendly - even the tours!). Laurel cottage itself is immaculate and perfectly equipped. The fully enclosed garden was a bonus for our two Springers. We'd highly recomend it.”

“Laurel cottage was excellent and we were well catered for. The position in the village centre was perfect lots of walking and local amenities Places to eat out and friendly locals would go again!”

“This was our second visit, the first place in 37 years we have ever stayed twice, it’s a loverly spot and a nice cottage.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Parking is 200 Yards from the cottage and the roads are narrow and steep. could be a problem for some.

“On entering the cottage we were more than happy with how lovely clean and well-appointed everything was. Both front and back gardens were inclosed, dog friendly and safe. It has all the charm and quirks of an old cottage from the thatched roof to the fact there wasn't a straight wall anywhere, it's wonderful. the village was pretty and the pubs and cafes served good food and all were dog friendly. 200 yards to the river Dart and only 4 miles to Paignton. We will be booking it again.”
