“I had a great time from the moment I arrived. The staff were very friendly and attentive, my room was very convenient to take the dog out before bed, and a superb woodland area at the end of the garden where I could safely let him off lead. Food was excellent and my dog had a sausage breakfast every morning! Can’t wait to go again.”

“The staff at this hotel can only be described as fantastic, welcoming to both Nell, our Labrador and us. Large comfortable room had doors which led straight into the garden The food was excellent, If I had to pick a fault, there were places where the fine beautiful grade 2 listed building would have benefited from some redecoration.. There are large grounds where we could walk Nell safely and securely. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.”

“Had a lovely time at Ennerdale! Friendly and helpful staff who were more than happy to accommodate our needs with the dog. Room was lovely and very clean- great for the dog because of the patio doors opening right out into the vast gardens. Food delicious and plentiful!”
