Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? At checkout I was charged for the dogs stay. However, this was deducted after I explained dogs stay was included with pets pyjamas.
We had a fantastic time at Chewton Glen treehouses. Hotel is set in an amazing location 20 mins walk to the beach through the woods. The dogs are not allowed within the hotel but they can walk the grounds. The staff were very welcoming and delightful. We managed to use the facilities in the hotel whilst the dogs had their naps. We (adults) enjoyed the daily breakfast box which was delivered through a hatch but we were also welcome to have a full breakfast in the hotel. Can’t wait to go back. The kitchen (James Martin) was excellent but now closed for a refurb.

Spent three nights in the Treehouse Studio Suite. Good points: The treehouse was beautifully built, decorated and housekept each day. Very comfortable & welcoming. All food & drink supplies in the room were FREE which was a lovely surprise. We were also given a bottle of champagne as they knew it was my birthday. Breakfast hamper each day was a delight & spread out to other meals as portions were generous. Staff were very polite & attentive. Not so good points: Service in the dining room was rather slow (dinner Friday night & afternoon tea on Sunday), veggie options not great. Breakfast in the dining room was a “help yourself” affair - which meant that, because I ordered poached eggs on toast off the a la carte menu, it arrived AFTER my husband had collected & eaten his full English buffet breakfast. It would have been nice to order one veggie English breakfast & one full English, which then arrived together - or warned in advance to not attend the buffet before the a la carte dish arrived. Another surprise was £65 added to each night’s stay as a “discretionary charge” which could be taken off, but the room was immaculate & nibbles free, so I doubt if anyone deducts this extra unexpected charge. I had a facial for £155 - guess what? “12.5% discretionary charge” added, so actually £174.37 for a facial. All in all £927 extra for three meals (one a day) plus all the discretionary charges on everything, including room rate. In between treehouse suite balconies, there’s loose tarpaulin hung up for privacy. Unfortunately, the gaps meant we had to tie our dog up when on the balcony, as he wanted to go & say hello to our neighbours. There needs to be a harder material that dogs can’t get under/past (plastic, wicker or glass perhaps?).
