“My fiancé and I took our 7 month old Cavapoo to Thornbury Castle and had the wonderful tasting menu with the wine accompaniment in the library. We felt hugely welcome from the start and were not made to feel difficult for having brought a dog. The wine and food was incredible and the library setting was beautiful and we didn’t feel like our service lacked or that we were disrupting anyone. Pedro the Sommelier had an incredible wine knowledge and Gita was a wonderful host. The Prince Arthur room was amazing and is in a great location to take our puppy out for a quick toilet trip. The staff had also left out a water bowl and special treats. Whilst our puppy sleeps in a crate they had no issues with her sleeping in the bed.”

“I was very excited about staying at the amazing Thornbury Castle and it delivered plus some!!! Our working cocker spaniel was treated like a princess and enjoyed having breakfast with us in the majestic library!! We will definitely visit again!”
