“On arrival we found the hotel has a small car park and we were lucky enough to find a space. However there is plenty of pay parking close by. We were greeted by a friendly, helpful reception. In fact all the staff were exceptional, frendly and helpful. Our room was lovely and the bed comfortable The dogs were happy and took to the provided dog bed and snack. We enjoyed our dinner in the bar area accompanied by the dogs and again the waitress was exceptional. Why not 5 stars. 1. We were woken up about 5.00am with a delivery and the noise of barrels being unloaded/loaded. 2. Lack of green spaces to excercise the dogs. (luckily we had been on a long walk before arrival).”

“We stayed at this hotel for New Years Eve and New Years Day. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. We were made to feel really welcome as was our dog with a bed and treats provided. The room was amazing and better than we expected. I can’t compliment the food enough. We ate dinner both nights and really enjoyed the meals. There was a lovely selection for breakfast and we can’t wait to go back.”

“We recently stayed 3 nights here over the New Year period and we had a lovely time. The staff were all really welcoming and the room was comfortable and spacious. We did have to be swapped to another room as the cleaners weren’t ready with our original room when it got to check in time, but this wasn’t a huge issue. The hotel restaurant is lovely with great food and a nice atmosphere for relaxing or grabbing a bite. Dogs were welcome everywhere which was great too. My only suggestion for improvement would have been it would be good to have a fridge in the room as milk for coffee and teas had to be collected from downstairs and there wasn’t anywhere to store our dog food either. That was it though. Everything else was great and I’d definitely come again!”
