“Very disappointed with our stay we were put at the end of the hotel having to climb stairs work our way through fire doors very small room to small for two adults and two dogs could not find any information in our room on what was available in hotel we even had to ask where we would eat very disappointed with this booking .”

Did you feel your stay was good value for money? No

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Seemed understaffed at times, some attention to detail needed. Ie can give examples which may see a little trivial but add the up and they become an issue. Overall a bit disappointing.

“Reception staff very good. Lovely area when entering hotel and in a beautiful spot as advertised. Room disappointing, not as advertised. Restaurant poor at times as was service. Expensive for what we had. Dog catered for but sadly we won’t return.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at the Beaulieu Inn. A perfect spot to stay with our 4 legged friend, a short step across the road to the forest and fabulous walks. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and our room was clean and extremely comfortable. Housekeeping checked in every day and replenished supplies. Food at the Drift was very good. On our last morning the breakfast chef had called in sick. The staff pulled out all the stops to ensure we all had a good breakfast. I understand one of the waiters had stepped up to cook and did a superb job. Well done! We will definitely be back.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Food was very average. Breakfast luke warm every morning. Every breakfast mistakes with what we ordered

“Very tired decor. Cracks and holes in walls. Seems as if you are put in a scruffy room if you are a dog owner. Very noisy location on main road with speeding traffic at all hours, even early hours of morning. Lovely view from window but not the quiet, peaceful location we had hoped for”

“The Beaulieu Inn is incredibly dog-friendly! From the warm welcome at check-in to the polite staff, they made us feel right at home. Ranger was spoiled with delicious treats and a goodie bag from Pets Pyjamas in our room. Plus, we could bring him to mealtimes with us. They even had a dog menu! There is a beautiful walk across the road from the hotel too. It's truly the most amazing dog-friendly hotel. Highly recommend!”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Reception in hotel could have been much friendlier and welcoming.

“Location of the Inn is superb surrounded by heath and forest. Ground floor public areas are nicely furnished and looked to have been recently refurbished in a contemporary style. Initial Reception wasn't particularly friendly as it should have been. Stairs, corridors and our room were in need of a good clean and redecoration. Grubby grout on tiles in bathroom, tiny inadequate bed, lumpy pillows. Very poor sleep. Loads of bin crashing in the morning. The food quality in the Drift restaurant was fine but the service was extremely slow and disjointed. Shown to table and left for ages before taking drinks and meal order. Then long wait before water arrived. Another long wait for drinks to arrive, then even longer before our meal came. Check out was much better though.”
