“Friendly staff,with clean accommodation. Set in a lovely valley with a good challenging golf course. Our dog was made to feel very welcome.”

“3 very enjoyable days here. Room was comfortable and clean, worth paying the extra for a course view. A decent breakfast and good evening meals, drink prices were reasonable and staff always pleasant. The golf courses were well kept, the Championship was a tough test but great fun, there was space to exercise the dogs. Enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. Would certainly come back.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Please repair the ceilings and overall appearance of the hotel. The golfing side is being catered for but general residence is falling behind!

“Our time at the hotel in general was pleasant, however there were aspects to the stay which we need to mention. When we first arrived the state of the reception wasn’t good as a first impression. Socket hanging off the wall, clearly some renovation was going on but the look was poor. Walking through the dining area is odd to arrive at your rooms. Ceiling on the corridor were very poor in appearance. Room: Room was clean but no floor Matt in the en-suite. Bedside lamps bulbs flicker when coming on. Not serving the rooms isn’t a good start. Food was good couldn’t fault it but we are wondering why the hotel is falling aroujd the catering? A bucket was on the table at dinner on the 2nd day due to a roof leak! Our dog only had a small track to walk down on the ground last so there needed to be more provision! Sadly we won’t be returning as it’s a nice setting with friendly staff however the overall standard of accommodation was poor for the money we paid. However we’ll done on the food!”

“This was our first hotel visit including our 2 spaniels. The hotel was excellent, our room was near an exit and the hotel provided us with a map of dog walks right from our hotel room. They provided beds for the dogs in the room ( which were too small for our dogs, but we had taken their own travel beds, which fitted nicely in our room and still left loads of room for the humans :) The hotel water bowl was much appreciated though. The dogs accompanied us to all meals and even enjoyed a sausage or two each breakfast. All staff were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. All in all a truly dog friendly hotel.”
