“We stayed in one of the new 2-bedroom lodges which were fantastic - clean, spacious and included a hot tub with a fenced-in decking area (great for the dog). The resort is a great place to stay with your dog but a number of the activities and the main restaurant were off-limits to dogs. This wasn't an issue in itself and completely understandable given the nature of the resort but it does need a little planning to find things to do outside of the hotel (not an issue if you have someone willing to dogsit whilst others are keeping busy). If I were to holiday in Devon again, I would personally look for somewhere slightly nearer to the coast but if you're looking for a countryside retreat and some very good local pubs then you won't be disappointed.”
