“Having 3 dogs, its not always easy to find a place to stay. The Heyford is a very accomodating hotel and the staff were excellent. The rooms were clean and had little "extras" for the dogs. The breakfasts were outstanding and the bar was a great place for a drink. All the staff were so polite and helpful. I would definately stay here again and highly recommend it”

“Everything and everyone was fantastic Room was very clean and modern The staff were so friendly nothing to much bother for them and so dog friendly”

“Lovely room and bathroom. Very clean, comfy bed, and all the mod cons you’d expect. Perfect set up for our puppy with a food bowl, water bowl, poo bags and even a selection of dog treats! Lovely breakfast in the restaurant. Staff were wonderful with lots of snuggles for the puppy!”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? A particular mention to how cheerful all the staff were.

“A modern small hotel with very friendly staff. Clean and tastefully decorated for Christmas. Our room was very spacious (see attached video) and we were made to feel very welcome (especially Harvey our dog). I had major knee surgery the previous week, so the staff allowed us to use a disabled room. This helped enormously. The food was good, in fact outstanding on Christmas day as it was like a banquet. Again the staff were friendly despite having to work. All in all a very pleasant stay.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The room was huge, even though it was just a standard room and the dog was welcomed everywhere in the hotel. The staff were amazing

“Lovely hotel, great for dogs who are made to feel very welcome, even in the dining area. However the exercise field referred to on the Pet Pyjamas site is more than 10 minutes walk away. Dogs are not allowed on the large green area behind the hotel and there are many notices to this effect all around the area, which was very disappointing”

“We received a very warm welcome, particularly our 2 cockapoos. The staff were friendly & helpful. We spent 2 nights enjoying the Oxfordshire countryside, eating good food and spending time in the restaurant & bar.”

“Perfectly located by Bicester Village Outlets and a short drive from The Cotswolds. It was very dog friendly but not full of dogs - only the hotel dog on reception and one other during our stay. Dogs are allowed in all areas included dining and the bowling alley and we were made to feel very welcome. Staff were really accomodating and very nice throughout our stay. Two great dining options and winter igloos also available for dining which looked lovely. We would definitely return.”
