“This is a review for Flossy’s View, an amazing Shepherds Hut. This was the perfect holiday for me and my daughter. It ticked so many boxes. I was looking for somewhere with a view that was a place in which to relax, enjoy walking, be pet friendly and have wifi. The view was amazing. The best part of which it could be enjoyed whilst lying in bed - or in the wood fired hot tub. There was also an outdoor area with a choice of seating. This had fairy lights and cushions and a wood fired pizza oven. Relaxing was definitely achieved as the hosts had thought of everything. Plenty of wood, a welcome hamper, bath robes and slippers all ready for the hot tub. The hut is situated right on the Pennine Way. My only gripe is that everything was uphill . Seriously it was just what I wanted. Dog bowls, biscuits, blankets etc were provided for my dog. The hosts also put in a fence to create a safer area for a dog. There was even a dog toilet area. Although most people want to be off grid when looking at staying in a Shepherd’s Hut, I knew that wasn’t for me. The wifi was excellent and we were able to stream movies on the tv in the hut. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The facilities were excellent. I didn’t want to come home.”
