“Location lovely although not much near so car is essential. Cottage was clean but beds were very uncomfortable as were the very cheap pillows. There are 2 seater sofa’s in the cottage that would be better off in student accommodation as you couldn’t really relax and as it was raining whilst there we couldn’t sit outside. The hotel is about 1/2 mile down the driveway. Reception staff helpful but staff in the hotel were limited for example waited 10 mins at bar until someone arrived. No conversation struck up and not very welcoming. Such a shame as with small details sorted could be a great pleas.”

“The cottage was lovely..comfy bed lovely bathroom and kitchen was small but nice The hot tub was great but was quite hard to keep regulated with having to use the logs to keep it warm and if you needed more logs we just asked at the hotel and within a few hours it was full again…the only thing that we found was the settees were really uncomfortable and we couldn’t get a good reception on the telly but overall we enjoyed the surroundings”

“No reception for television , had to wash cups before we could have a drink, there were dead flies& spiders in the mouldy windowsills, and smelt fusty as if it had not been aired for days. This was the worst accommodation we have ever been offered windows did not open ( fire hazard ) . Will try to send photos ( not very good with hi-tec ). P.s. already sent report to you. We did not stop one night.”
