“Nice hotel in a stunning location. Such a picturesque setting we felt relaxed instantly on arrival. Friendly, helpful staff helped make our stay very pleasant. The view from our bedroom was stunning and the bed very comfortable. The food in the bar was good. Breakfast was okay .”

Did you and your dog receive a warm welcome? yes

Did you feel your stay was good value for money? yes

“This a very nice small hotel in a beautiful setting. Our room was very comfortable and warm. It wasn’t serviced during our three night stay but I think that is becoming the norm these days - staff shortages possibly? There is a very comfortable sitting room with a lovely open fire and an excellent bar also with a fire. The menu is the same in the bar and the main dining room and although not extensive for choice everything we ate was really excellent - steaks cooked as requested and the fish delicious and fresh. Breakfasts were also very good indeed. Staff were all extremely friendly and our two small dogs were made very welcome. My wife and I can’t think of anything negative at all. We would strongly recommend and happily rebook.”
