“The lodge was very quiet despite being close to a holiday park. We had the beach to ourselves most of the time. Lovely walk across cliffs to Stairhaven and easy access to other local walks and attractions. Views of otter, dolphins and deer from the lodge which really made our stay. Very comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage and made to feel very welcome. Sunsets and stargazing by the firepit was an added bonus. We all (including the dog) loved the freedom of big skies, wonderful views and the sound of the sea.”

“We absolutely loved our stay at the Lodge On The Beach, and so did Willow (our dog). It was everything we hoped and more. Sadly the local pub isn’t dog friendly, but they do have an outdoor seating area that you can take the dog.”

“The two of us and our pair of Lurcher’s have just got back from a wonderful weeks stay at the lodge on the beach. The lodge is beautifully situated directly on the beach with stunning sea views from virtually every room, the patio, with its warming fire was a great space to enjoy a drink and watch the sun set - and we also saw plenty of wildlife spotting seals and even a deer down on the sand. The beach was pretty quiet, but even though the lodge is right on the beach, you still had privacy from any passers by because of it’s great position. The Lurchers loved how we could be on the beach in seconds and made great use of it everyday. The lodge itself was well equipped with everything you’d need for a holiday, tastefully and comfortably decorated. When the weather was wet on a couple of days it was a space we enjoyed being in and found it relaxing and spacious. Christine, the property manager, was fabulous, warm and welcoming and gave us some great recommendations. We had a great time, loved the area and hope to be back.”
