“Great room, great bed...I mean truly great. Great staff...great beer (Butcombe and very well kept) Food was average and needs to be sharply improved if they want to become the destination eatery that they deserve to be. Menu far too fussy. Cut it down and simplify it. This place has huge prospects”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Not as good as other Pets in pyjamas hotels. Would not return.

“Very noisy hotel, we got hardly any sleep due to slamming doors all night.”

“We had the most amazing stay here spending two nights at The Methuen, the room was beautiful and they even included a little towel and some doggy wash for our fur baby. The location was perfect with a fantastic beer garden and some great places to go for long dog walks. The food, drinks and service from the whole team was faultless. We wish we had stayed longer and could not recommend this place enough!”

“The hotel is stunning, situated in a lovely village next to a large field very convenient for dog walking. Very close to the local church for a bit of history. The staff were very friendly as were the people in the village. Bathroom was massive and the bath was essentially a swimming pool!”
