“Summer House is a lovely peaceful retreat in an ideal location to explore Pembrokeshire. The pre communication was great with lots of ideas for things to do. On arrival the property looked just like the photos and we were welcomed with a bottle of prosecco and some biscuits. The property was well appointed and had dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and toaster. The duvets, pillows and towels were indulgent. The wood fired hot tub was amazing and we made use of this every day of our stay. The garden and outside space is relaxing and secure for our pooch and the gas BBQ was perfect. Ideas for improvement: the driveway entrance has an uneven incline and my husband scraped the bottom of his car bumper causing damage - maybe a sign or prior warning to guests. The property needed a really good clean as it was very dusty. A mop and bucket would have been appreciated to clean up muddy paw prints. The property was full of flies, we bought citronella candles which helped a little. The garden is a little overgrown and could do with some TLC. However these small things did not spoil our enjoyment and we would definitely recommend a stay here. Thank you to our hosts Vernon and Linda.”
