“We chose the Pack Horse site for a week-long break to escape the continuous din from three houses opposite all undergoing major refurbishment at the same time. It worked! The location is spot-on for those wanting to relax and unwind, not too far from Matlock and Wirksworth, and a great place for those who like walking or fishing. Our Border Collie Max made yapping acquaintance with the farm Collies (and their Jack Russell pal), and we were made very welcome by hosts Kath and Nick. The hut was comfy and cosy, with good facilities including a storage shed with fridge/freezer. Highly recommended.”
