Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Person who served us on reception was not very friendly but the rest of the staff were lovely.

“We booked 2 rooms for my family and our 2 dogs. We received an efficient welcome but had to sort out an issue with our room, although this was quickly resolved. Rooms were a little small but comfortable. Parking costs a little steep but can be reduced by pre-booking. We didn’t received the goodie bags promised until the final night when a person at the bar went and found one for us.”

“This was our first time booking with Pets Pyjamas. We were looking for a dog friendly hotel stay and a quick google search led us to the Pets Pyjamas website where we found what we wanted. This was great so was happy to check availability and book there and then except this is not possible - you have to arrange for a concierge to call you back. I got a phone call from a lovely chap who told me how everything works and that he was going to check the hotel's availability for me and call me back... Two phone calls and five emails later (would have been so much quicker and easier if I could have done this myself!) were we all booked and looking forward to our stay. PetsPyjamas didn't seem very clear on the details of the booking and even at the time of paying for the booking I still wasn't told about check in times, parking facilities or whether breakfast was included even though I had asked. I did get a bit more info in the confirmation email after payment but our check in/check out times were not stated. The day before our booking I contacted both customer service and my appointed concierge about this and no one got back to me before the day of the booking so I had to find out this information myself in the end on the hotel's website. My concierge finally got back to me at 2pm on the day of my booking when we were checking in... The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful but our 'PetsPyjamas Package with Bow-Wow Appeal' was nowhere to be seen as there were no dog beds, bowls or walking maps there for us. When I asked the staff they didn't seem to know much about it and very kindly gave us a box of dog treats but had no dog beds we could use - we didn't take our own dog bed as we were told by pets pyjamas that they would provide it so this was frustrating. I emailed my appointed concierge about this and still have had no response (it's been a week). The hotel was nice, the bed was very cosy and the bar/restaurant was nice. The food was ok but there was a good atmosphere. It's easy to get to and close to a lot of nice walks. We ended up going for a lovely walk around Steart Marshes which I thoroughly recommend. Unfortunately PetsPyjamas was very disappointing and I wish I had booked the hotel directly via their own website as it would have worked out the similar price for the same thing but without the faff.”

“Hotel is situated on a business park, obviously a new build. Made a great base to go off and explore, staff very knowledgeable about dog friendly places to go. Will use again when in that area.”
