“We stayed at the Alma Inn for two nights with our two children (3 and 7) and our young dog. As a boisterous kids-and-puppy-family, we were very happy to be able to eat in the bar area, so we didn't feel that we were disturbing the other diners in the fancier looking restaurant. The food was good pub fare with a slightly above average menu. There was even a canine menu for our puppy to choose from :-) The room and en-suite bath was clean and comfy. Someone even called us before our arrival to check if we wanted extra beds for the kids. Yes, a few things did not go quite to plan because of a new staff member (who was lovely though). Breakfast was truly delicious and a great start to the day. All in all everyone was very friendly and helpful with tips of what to see and do in the area and we felt well looked after.”

“This is a lovely well kept inn which served delicious breakfast and dinner. It's set within beautiful country side. The room was rather small for 2 adults and 1 dog but for 1 night it was perfectly adequate and there are larger rooms available. The staff are what makes this place - very friendly and nothing was too much for them. Thank you.”
