“Really warm welcome by the staff of The Fenwick, shown to our room which was super. Clean, tidy & plenty of space for our dog. We were seated in the snug for dinner so we could take Bes. Food was amazing! Perfect overnight stay. Highly recommended.”

“My daughter and I stayed at the Fenwick with our Labrador, Hattie, to break the journey from Devon to Edinburgh. I usually can’t be bothered to write reviews but feel compelled to do so because the Fenwick was so good! Huge room; very clean; really friendly staff and we had good meal in the bar. Highly recommend!”

“Excellent dog friendly venue located in Lune valley. Comfortable room with easy access. Great shower. Good food and friendly, helpful staff.”

“We enjoyed our stay, the service and food was great, we had breakfast and dinner there. The standard rooms are a little on the small side and were quite warm but fine for a short stay. It’s worth noting the hotel is on a fairly busy country lane so in terms of walks we didn’t go out in the immediate area, but it’s really well placed for trips further afield. Good value and would return.”

“The rooms were attached to the pub and accessed via external metal staircase. Was impressed how clean and comfortable the room was. Unfortunately we were unable to have our lunch in the pub as there was a power cut. The staff were very professional and helpful. They were booking tables for customers in other pubs. In evening we popped down for a drink and staff offered to helped me collect our dogs from the room. The breakfast was tasty and lots of choice. Hope to return soon”
