“The hotel has no food or bar area - just rooms They partner a hotel/ pub “across the road” but actually a long walk - especially in the rain. I asked if they could book us a table and reception said no and they think they allow dogs. We had a dog friendly room. But that does now excuse the following. Stains on the carpet and cracks on the walls, dirty toilet, a shower that scolds and the freezing with no constant flow. The walls of the room were brown which made the room dreary dirty and really unwelcoming. We were close to walking out but we had to stay as my dogs had a vet hospital appointment early the next morning- the reason we travelled the day before. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.”
