“We had a lovely one night stay. Bertie the Labradoodle was made to feel very welcome. Food very good & able to eat with Bertie in the bar, which was very comfortable. Thank you Kings Arms.”

“We had a couple of nights at The Kings Arms in Dorchester with our 2 dogs. The staff were lovely who spoilt us and the dogs throughout our stay. Hotel lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable. Recommended”

“We took a 2 night mid week break with our Springer Spaniel and had a lovely stay. The staff are amazing and so dog friendly. The room was beautifully decorated and so comfy....we would return here without hesitation. There was also a dog welcome box in the room with treats, poo bags, tennis ball and dog food.....this went down very well with our fur baby.”

“We loved our time here! They made our Boxer feel so welcome, the staff loved him and made a fuss everytime they saw him. He's on a raw food diet and the room had a small fridge which was great for us to store. The hotel was so stylish. The room was lovely and spacious enough for his big dog bed to lay at the bottom of the bed and to top it off, the food was delicious! The hotel itself doesn't have a grass area but directly opposite is a church yard where we could take him to the toilet and a few minutes walk away would take you to lovely stream to walk by with a grass area. Plenty of dog friendly beaches nearby too. Would recommend a stay here!”

“Our dog Boris could not have been made more welcome. The room was absolutely stunning, a little doggy welcome gift was the icing on the cake. Food, staff and decor all incredible. For a last minute Easter trip we couldn’t be more delighted.”

“We had a great 4 night's stay at the Kings Arms,we were made to feel very welcome by all the staff (incl Jess our Border Terrier), nothing was too much trouble for the staff to accommodate any requests we made. Very central for visiting any of the local landmarks. A Great Hotel & Staff,will definitely be back.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? A water bowl for the dog would be a welcome gesture in the room.

“Had an exceptional break at the Kings Arms a warm welcome was given to us and our pooch from all the staff, room was very clean and comfortable, food in the evening and breakfast service was first class thank you.”
