Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Fix the dishwasher and the upstairs shower. Fix a gate to the pathway.

“We stayed at the Gardeners Cottage for 3 nights - 3 adults, 3 kids and 1 dog. The cottage is very well located, in the heart of Fifield and right next to the D’arcy Dalton Way for fantastic walks. The cottage has a large garden great for kids to run around. However, there are some issues: - there is no gate to leading to the path so dogs and young kids could run out to the field/forest - the downstairs bedroom, which has a bunk bed, has cobwebs and spiders under the bottom bunk making it extremely unpleasant to sleep in and our daughter had to sleep on the sofa - the kitchen is sparsely equipped and whilst there was a packet of biscuits and crisps and elderflower presse offered on arrival, it lacked some rental basics such as tea bags, salt/pepper, sugar, milk, which we have found in most rental properties - the dishwasher was disgusting. It was not installed securely and did not clean the dishes or glasses but made it dirtier and stank after a wash cycle. There was no washing up sponge just a dishcloth so we had to buy it ourselves. - the upstairs bathroom shower ran burning hot or freezing cold at the slightest touch and effectively useless so all 6 of us had to use the tiny downstairs shower - no instructions on how to work the tv or appliances, just a folder of installation manuals which was useless. When we enquired about how to work the tv we got a response 24 hours later to get in touch with the management company, which was unhelpful - there was a large cot in the second bedroom, even when we specified there were no babies in our group, which took up a quarter of the room We have stayed in many cottage rentals and our stay here was disappointing. We will not recommend it to our family and friends.”
