“A superb small cottage in a lovely friendly village. We were delighted with this cottage- so well equipped and spotlessly clean. The owner has gone to so much trouble to ensure a comfortable and homely stay. It’s perfectly placed for amenities/ bus and train …great!”

“Mulberry cottage is a lovely, comfortable cottage. It is well equipped and warm. It is in a great location in Staveley. Easy to get to Kendal and Windermere. It’s also got its own train station. We had a lovely few days there. Mill yard nearby has a good bakery and Cafe Elav is a treat.( try the scones) Places to eat ( the chippy and local Pub) aren’t open/ don’t serve food on Mondays and Tuesdays which is worth knowing. The bathroom in Mulberry cottage was fine for us but might not be so easy with young children as it’s small with no bath( but a great shower) We took our dog and it’s worth knowing that there’s no enclosed space or garden. We found parking easily along the road.”
