“It’s really beautiful here and our room number 10 - perfect for the dog - was lovely - the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast plentiful and tasty - feel a bit mean to say I thought the meal we had in the evening with four friends was a bit underwhelming but it was - otherwise service and setting top notch - we would go again without hesitation”

“We stayed here for a long weekend and had room 8 suite room. We were greeted by the friendly staff, who loved Tiggy to! Our room was huge and so comfortable. The living room was a cute size and had everything we could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable too! Food was delicious - we ate in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner every night. Service was excellent and the food was even better! The sharing beef cheek pie on the Friday was our favourite! It was lovely that Tiggy could come to meals with us, and was even given sausage for breakfast! We felt so comfortable here and we will definitely be returning. The venue was close to all local area activities. And although freezing the gardens were beautiful and great for a little walk for Tiggs too! Thank you for having us!”

“This is a beautiful location with impressive garden and surrounding area. The room was a good size, the bed was extremely comfortable and the toiletry products were very good. Excellent room cleaning service and big fluffy towels. The internal bar area was quirky offering a relaxed atmosphere. Staff were friendly, but seemed quite stressed all the time due to the high volume of customers and staff shortages.”

“Just got back from a lovely short break in a very handy louvain for the new forest and Poole/Bournemouth. The pub with rooms was full of character and the gardens were gorgeous. We booked for dinner in the evenings a couple of nights which was superb. The included breakfast was a basic continental which was more than adequate, but if not you could pay extra and have cooked items, which we did on the last day as a treat before we drove home, and the full English was lovely! The only small comment is that although the pub was very dog friendly, the rooms would have benefited from having a mat for dog food bowls, a throw for possible muddy paws... we didn't allow our dog on the bed and a good job as the linen was pristine white, which was a worry...! We didn't want to get it dirty at all.. not easy with a dog who had been on the beach all day! Also, maybe a fridge to keep dog food fresh would have been helpful, although the staff did put the opened dog food tin in their fridge for us so can't complain. All in all, a lovely stay.”
