“We had a lovely weekend at the Ambleside Inn, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and our two small Westies were thoroughly spoiled, with added treats to keep them happy. The room was bright, very clean, and comfortable. The Inn is well located for exploring Ambleside and beyond. Be prepared for some late-night noise which is inevitable given its central location, but this did not spoil our visit. We would definitely visit again.”

“Amazing staff, lovely rooms. Great food. Room was a bit on the warm side but they do have fans in the room so that fixed that problem. The shower was difficult to turn on but the staff soon fixed that. Well worth every penny and we will be returning. Dogs also get a welcome pack on the bed that contains a toy, treats and poo bags.”

“We stayed overnight at the Ambleside Inn and it was really lovely. The room was nice and roomy and comfortable, clean and nice looking. The staff were all really attentive and couldn't do enough for you. The food in the restaurant is amazing, would definitely recommend. There wasn't a dog menu while we were there due to delivery issues but we'd taken our own anyway. The breakfast was help yourself full English and catered well for vegetarians. There were some lovely treats left on the bed for our dog, which was a lovely touch. The only downside was it doesn't have parking and all the pay and displays nearby were full so took a bit of driving round to get a space. Other than that we had an excellent stay and will definitely go back.”
