Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? This is not a dog friendly hotel and for your own standing I would not send anyone again. There is not a poo bin on site and no provision in the room. The staff are friendly, inexperienced generally but do the best they can a

“The castle is old and rambling but with nice grounds. The bedrooms are literally 100 yards plus from the front door and about 70 from any access to the grounds. With an old dog who likes to go out at night that is a problem. The rooms are good but the management is appalling. Everything, even a cup of coffee has to be paid for on the spot. Breakfast after a couple of days was ordered from the restaurant for outside service and was good. All other meals had to be obtained from a cafe/bar and were poor and lacking in variety. We went outside for evening meals after two days to the Drovers Arms, good pub food. The hotel had a high turnover of visitors which suggests it is a reasonable B&B.”
