“We’ve just returned from a 3 night stay at Portsonachan. It was a magical peaceful place. We stayed in a one bed lodge on the loch side. The staff were very attentive nothing was too much trouble.”

“We had a nice week at Portsonachan, the hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was good, although of all the meals we had while in the area theirs was the most expensive, £19 for fish and chips is quite steep! The apartment was ok but a little tired, but the bed was comfortable. The whole hotel is very Dog friendly and our Spaniel met lots of other Dogs. Ther are hardly any local walks near the hotel, most that i tried to find were massively overgrown and we had to drive to find good Dog walks.”
