“We really enjoyed our stay at Acorn Lodge (2 adults and 1 dog). The location is brilliant as it is a short drive to either a dog friendly beach and a lovely forest. There's a great little coffee shop just a 10min walk away if you are there over a weekend (not open in the week). We also came across lovely pubs with great food and beer gardens. The Lodge has everything you could need - a nice big fridge/freezer, over/cooker, microwave, coffee machine with complimentary pods, dishwasher, hose outside for a muddy pup, lovely shower/bath. The garden is nice and big and really secure so the dog had a lovely time! We enjoyed sitting outside in the sun playing games (many boardgames provided). There were really lovely touches, like dog bowls provided for water & food, a welcome doggy biscuit and some poo bags. We highly recommend Acorn Lodge and will definitely return again for a pet friendly stay.”
