“Can’t find fault with the presentation or position of this upside down cottage. The ground floor bathroom and drying area are idea for coming home wet and windswept, getting dry and warm before going upstairs tk the cosy living area. Some things aren’t perfect as per other reviews I’d seen before our break but there are improvements and they make all the difference. Lovely wooden floors that are easy to clean and a washing machine make life easier spot muddy walks. Cleanliness is good but not perfect but the beds are clean and comfy. Would definitely stay here again as it’s perfectly placed for exploring the beauty of the less busy western lakes, which is what we came for. You’ll be out of the way to an extent so I’d suggest arriving with a few provisions, the pub next door is as friendly as other reviews stated and the food very satisfying….the property is on a road but there are gates to shut making it safe for the dog to use….”
