Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? the place was clean and equipped well and beautiful location just need better beds wasn’t for us due to lack of sleep

“cottage itself on paper is lovely in reality not so much. main issue for us was the beds and duvets and pillows. the bed was too uncomfortable so after 3 nights we tried the two single beds which was even worse. To top it off the duvets and pillows were feathered. which smelt pretty heavy with dust an you get stabbed with feathers. No shaving mirror. plug didnt work in the bathroom sink and the towel heater was not attached properly. not to mention the place is cold. we had booked for the week but left on the 5th day. notified the owner that we were leaving and in her defence she did say she could have swapped the bedding but this wouldn’t solve the issue of the bed being uncomfortable. Was informed that she knew about the issues in the bathroom and was waiting for the person who had fitted it to fix the mistakes. NO offer of a refund for the last 2 nights stay was disappointing. All in all a shame because the cottage is in beautiful location and was well equipped with what you would need for self catering. But if you can’t sleep well its takes all that away.”
