“Tides Corner is beautiful and the accommodation is incredibly comfortable...a home from home. The location is also fantastic with so much to see and do. However, it is not dog-friendly in that it does not have an enclosed garden as advertised. I spent many hours looking at photos of properties before deciding that Tides Corner would be perfect for our escape artist Irish Red and White Setter. I even emailed Pets Pyjamas to ask if the garden was enclosed as shown on the photos. Paul replied that "the accommodation provider are pretty sure the fence is at least 5ft all around". Foolishly, I assumed that meant it might be a little bit lower than 5ft at some points. Not the case! The beautiful lawn you can see on the photos has big gates to the left of it which are permanently (nailed?) open leading straight onto a main road. The apartment is provided with a small gravel and patio area to the side of the property which has a very low (2 1/2 foot?) fence and a gate that was kept shut with a rock (which our Irish Red and White Setter immediately pushed open!). We informed the owner and Pets Pyjamas of the problem straight away. The owner provided us with a bike lock to enable the gate to be closed but we had to block it with patio chairs to stop our dog from putting his head between the bars in the gate and getting his head stuck. Pets Pyjamas reiterated what the accommodation provider had said. This is not the owner who stated nobody had asked him, otherwise, he would have said the garden was unsuitable for our dog. Pets Pyjamas asked us to send updated photos so they could update their website as I felt the property was being falsely advertised and customers were not being given the proper information to make an informed choice. I had, in fact, already included new photos in my email so Pets Pyjamas could see our predicament. Therefore, I do not feel my email had been read thoroughly or had been given the attention it deserved. I was so excited when I found the Pets Pyjamas website and thought I had finally found someone who understood the needs of dog owners. I am very disappointed with their advertising of unsuitable accommodation and their response to our predicament. We will not be using them again.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The only negative was with the internet, which either worked fine or didn't work at all; I did some poking around and it looks to me like the internet / wifi signal drops every few minutes for up to a couple minutes (note that this doesn't seem to impact

“Very clean, nice rooms, well kitted out plus "mega" water pressure in the shower, and only a couple hundred yards from the beach - exactly what we wanted. Would we stay here again - absolutely 'yes'.”
