“The cottage was spacious and had a lot of pots, pans etc to cater for the amount of people staying and made cooking in the lodge very easy for us. Everywhere we went nearby was dog friendly, if you don’t want to drive and instead walk the nearest pub is 1hour 30 mins walk so bare that in mind. However we did get a taxi back that took dogs as well so wasn’t too bad. Lots of nice villages driving distance as well. The only downside was the cleanness of the house, it hadn’t been hoovered very well as there were crumbs everywhere and glass by the hot tub which was strange as your strictly not allowed glass out there. One of the plates in the cupboard had dried sauce on it. We did have to run the hoover around ourselves and that was full to the brim and hadn’t been cleaned out. However I would recommend the lodge I just would ask that they clean more considering it states when you leave you should clean the house too.”
