“The location in the grounds of the owner's Queen Anne house is very agreeable. The cottage itself very well appointed - unusual in so much as each of the 3 bedrooms has an en suite bathroom. The outside dining table under a trailing vine is just as it looks in the pictures and we managed one dinner and one breakfast outside (fortunately we bought a camping lamp with us as in September it is already dark at dinner time). One of us used the swimming pool which is well maintained. Excellent instructions on how to get to the property except that the email left off the # from the code to enter the main gate which had us scratching our heads. We managed to visit several National Trust properties and the Balfour vineyard in the few days we were there, so altogether a successful stay, although very sadly without our Welsh Terrier who passed away the week before.”
