“A short but very enjoyable stay at Golf Cottage.A really pretty, clean & cosy place,with lovely walks nearby. Both the Hanging Gate pub & the Beehive were excellent eating venues. My friend’s little dog enjoyed it too & made some lovely doggie friend with neighbours’ dogs.Highly recommend!”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Sadly no pets pyjamas welcome items for poppy

“A lovely cozy cottage with the Peak District, ideal location for the area. Cottage was nearly perfect effect except for the spare bedroom mattress being uncomfortable sadly . The owner was very helpful when we queried anything The pub across the road served friendly local food and drinks. Would recommend 100% if the second mattress in small room was upgraded other wise it’s 90% sorry”

“We had an amazing time at Golf cottage. It is a great base for exploring the Peak District. The cottage is so comfortable and inspiring. Beautifully decorated and everything thought of. The only downside is a lack of garden but there are fabulous walks at the doorstep so it’s not a biggie. Great food and a lovely welcome at the nearby Beehive Inn too. We were so sad to leave!”

“This was a lovely cottage with some great walks for our dog Wren. For those like me who go out early morning with the dog there is a short walk you can do just outside the cottage. The cottage was clean and well looked after also the owner left us milk and a cake to make us feel welcome. I’m sure we will use this cottage again.”

“Had a lovely short break, didn’t realise it didn’t have a garden but plenty of dog walks in the area, had everything we needed for a few days away with my husband and my labradoodle dog, would stay there again. Was nice to arrive and a welcome gift of milk, tea, Coffee and fruit cake. Thank you”
