A very light, bright, clean and well-equipped, cottage. Robbie and Freddie, our two Norwich Terriers, had great fun running around the large garden. Close to many attractions, Seven Sisters and Hurstmonceux Castle are well worth a visit, loads of information on the cottage and where to go in the folder. David and Collette the owners were very welcoming.

Did you and your dog receive a warm welcome? yes
Did you feel your stay was good value for money? yes
We were lucky that having made a last minute decision to have a short break, this cottage became available after a last minute cancellation. The cottage is idyllic, a converted dairy located on the land of the main farmhouse, gardens and stable. The owners are available and friendly but apart from popping in to welcome us we did not see them but knew they were on hand if we needed anything. The cottage is very well equipped and everything you can think of is provided to ensure the utmost comfort during the stay. The cottage is ideally located for local beaches, we explored Cuckmere haven which is not to be missed. The local pub Merrie Harries was a welcome sight on our first night and after that we ventured to nearby Rushlake Green and the Horse & Groom which we preferred. Our young dog was perfectly safe in the secluded garden and she loved the fact that the garden height was level with our bedroom window and she could pop her head through the window whilst we enjoyed a lie in. We would not hesitate to go back and (quick tip), we would use the other bedroom with the single beds and have them converted to a Super Kingsize as that room gets the sun all day and is very pleasant, light and airy
