“We loved our stay here, it is a beautiful hotel in gorgeous surroundings with spacious and character rooms yet provides up to date facilities and comforts. Staff at the hotel were superb, warm, friendly and obliging. Food was wonderful and would absolutely recommend this hotel. Only word of caution is that there are a lot of stairs/steps that are tricky for older people and dogs.”

“From check in to check out the staff were friendly and helpful, the pets pyjamas deal was honoured and was great value. The evening meal was delicious with dog treats available, we were able to eat with our dog in an area between the bar and restaurant which was a plus over some hotels where one is stuck in the corner of a noisy bar. Breakfast was good with a nice range of choices. The room was on the top floor and was very comfortable with a good range of toiletries.”
