“We had an amazing 3 nights at this hotel. Greeted by a lovely receptionist. Very helpful. Our room was great. A dog bed, blanket and water bowl were in the room plus dog treats. Exceptional sea views from our windows. Bed very comfortable. We had dinner one night in the restaurant which was very tasty but a little bit overpriced but then we had again an amazing view of St Michael’s Mount. Breakfast was included in our package and wow what a breakfast. Full English, kippers, avocado on sourdough!! And again the view of St Michael’s Mount. We had a very early start when departing and the staff kindly packaged up some pastries and juice and coffee in takeaway cups. Very thoughtful. The most amazing break and would highly recommend. All the staff loved our dog and nothing was too much trouble.”

“We had a lovely short stay at The Godolphin earlier this week. The hotel is extremely comfortable and stylish and is literally right on the beach so we had an amazing view of St Michael's Mount and all the comings and goings. Perfect beach for dogs to run about on, although they can only access the beach between 6pm and 10am during the summer months. The hotel was very dog friendly - the only negative was that there were quite a lot of stairs in the hotel and no lift so our older dog struggled with them a bit. We managed ok though and it wouldn't be a problem for dogs that can be carried or are good with stairs. We had a couple of issues but they got sorted out quickly and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Breakfast was excellent and we'd definitely recommend saying there (providing stairs are not an issue for you or your dog)”

“A lovely return visit to The Godolphin. The views are absolutely spectacular and we and our dog were given a very warm welcome. The hotel is very dog friendly but also of a high standard of interior design.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Worth staying here for the views. Couple of tweaks needed to make it that 5* hotel.

“Lovely hotel, staff were really good and all were very welcoming with our dog! She was given lots of treats, cuddles and tickles. She even got a blanket to sleep on which was a nice touch. As we were travelling to a few different places we had our dogs food frozen in a cool box and the hotel kindly stored that for us so Dottie's food stayed frozen. Food at the hotel was lovely, not cheap but didn't expect it to be cheap! The views of St Micheal's Mount were beautiful! I wouldn't get bored of that view no matter what the weather was doing. Just two little things let the hotel down, we were only staying for two nights but out room as not cleaned after our first night :( we literally think this was a genuine mistake. The two lovely cleaners had seen us and had given us new bottles of water but we had no room clean that day. It wouldn't have been an issue except the room we stayed in had a shower over the bath but part of the shower screen had no shower rubber at the bottom on the screen so after my husband had had a shower there was water all over the bathroom floor...only thing we could do was to mop it up with the towels as it was really wet and slippy. Leaving our towels absolutely soaking wet and unusable. When we realised our room hadn't been cleaned we asked at reception why. The new receptionist wasn't sure why and the clean team had gone home. She was very apologetic and kind. She went and got us out a load of clean towels and gave us a couple of free drinks tokens for the bar. It was well dealt with (not sure of her name but thank you) and not her fault but just a bit annoying when you are paying a lot of money for a hotel room.”

“From the moment we were greeted at reception until we left, the stay at The Godolphin was brilliant! Staff were super polite and couldn’t do enough for you! The breakfast choice and food generally was of a brilliant standard and this hotel is brilliantly located for lots of days out around the area.”

“Beautifully arranged, lovely helpful staff. Could not do enough for us and our dogs. One of our dogs is disabled and they made sure that our room was accessible also that there was a place to easily store his dog carriage. All the staff were dog friendly, the dogs were always offered water and tables for meals provided with plenty of room fro them to relax.”
