Did you feel your stay was good value for money? yes

“We were given a warm welcome to our overnight stopover as we traveled from the south to our holiday in Scotland. The room was good and both the evening meal and breakfast were just fine, served by pleasant staff, making it an ideal dog friendly place to stay.”

Did you and your dog receive a warm welcome? no

“We arrived to find the restaurant closing early for a wedding - but neither Petspyjamas nor the hotel had let us know when booking. We were charged again by the hotel despite having already paid Petspyjamas - who according to the hotel hadn't sent the money through. It's taken 10 days of me chasing the hotel to get our money back. They had made Petspyjamas aware - no one has called us,. Suffice to say I won't be using either the hotel or Petspyjamas again. What a shame. I'm not one to write poor reviews usually, but I was very disappointed with the service.”

We pride ourselves not only on our wonderful Pet Concierge Team but also on the fantastic properties we work with so we are let down to know we failed you on this occasion. I have checked over our emails and at no point were we contacted by The Croft Hotel to update us on the early closure of the restaurant nor about the duplicate charge that was made to you at check-out. Rest assured we have passed your comments onto the hotel and will continue to work closely with them, ensuring everything is as good as it should be. Thank you, Lauren

“The staff at the Croft Hotel made us very welcome and really made a fuss of our little dog. We had a lovely room, which you’d never know was a dog friendly room. The cost of the room was very reasonable. The Hotel is a little tired and the food is fine but it is in a great location with some lovely dog walks.”
